Heather is part of the quantitative research team which focuses on the collection, cleansing and synthesizing of Principia’s information. Her primary responsibilities include the development and improvement of algorithms for existing and developing models. In addition, Heather supports overall research efforts through the analysis and interpretation of results in order to create and improve Principia’s data products.
Prior to joining Principia, Heather worked as a science-based consultant at CTEH where she offered project managers technical support for their client deliverables. This included processing incoming data for database upload, drafting scientific reports, and creating maps. At CTEH, she was also a database specialist on a television production responsible for tracking Covid testing for cast and crew and tackling ad hoc data requests.
Heather earned an MS in Organismal and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Bonn and a BS in Environmental Biology from the University of Central Arkansas.
