Director, Quantitative Analysis
Matt leads Principia’s quantitative analysis team and works closely with the research team to collect, collate, cleanse, and synthesize all of Principia’s information. He is expert at secondary search and collection as well as market assessment and financial modeling. Matt’s primary responsibilities for Principia include analysis of survey results and the construction of demand models. In addition, Matt works to track supply chain outlets and the manufacturers they carry.
Previously, Matt worked for Penton Publishing where he led a team of analysts responsible for data collection and maintenance for EquipmentWatch, an equipment data-benchmarking product. He created custom analytics for consulting customers and conference presentations, and content for a data journalism website providing visualization-based analytics to a community of equipment sellers, owners, and financiers.
Matt earned an MA in Economics from Georgia State University, after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and BA in International Affairs from the University of Georgia.
