A leading supplier of exterior trim manufacturer sought to expand its distribution network and has started working with a key distributor in trim. As the distributor adds locations, manufacturer works to get its trim products sold into the new distribution centers.=

Approach

Using the zip radius tool from Principia’s DemandBuilder® data product on exterior trim, the Client’s sales team selected a 50-mile service area out from each distribution center to identify the addressable market demand by material in each area. A three-year outlook for demand in each area provided a compelling case for a stocking position with the Client’s products at each location.


Outcome
